On drawing:
Drawing is my committed expression and adoration of a subject – but to see it from afar does not risk disconnection to the essence. It is this long and short inspection that I celebrate with drawing.
On Painting:
I only try to capture the forms enclosed in a space, a space that speaks - light and form in our world - as James Gleeson said "paint is just ointment of light".
